Horse Power

We think its fair to say Warwick is the home of Polocrosse in Australia! Morgan Park was the venue for the first ever Polocrosse World Cup in 2003, the subsequent World Cup in 2007 and several National Championships.

There is also a full calendar of country horse racing at the Warwick Turf Club.

Glengallan Homestead

Glengallan Homestead

This homestead sat uninhabited for almost 100 years, before a team of volunteers in the 1990’s stepped in. Today you will find an innovative restoration, complete with period furniture (even some Glengallan originals!). There's plenty of signage telling the story of a riches to rags past, and you can read and watch the story unfold as you wander the house and grounds. Stay for lunch or book in advance for high tea.

Show your Abbey Boutique room key or receipt for a 2 for 1 adults entry deal.

Warwick is best known for being the town with Queensland's quirkiest Winter festival, Jumpers and Jazz and to Australia's most famous rodeo.
Warwick is also home to many other festivals and events in our region, from Stanthorpe's Apple and Grape festival and Snowflakes, heavy horse days, Leyburn Sprints,  country markets and much much more!
